Writing a novel is one of the most rewarding journeys I have been on. My big idea is written but I am in the polishing stage also known as editing. I couldn't resist sharing the story and characters any longer.

Fire and Dust is a romantic young adult fantasy filled with adventure. Below is the ''book blurp'' which is usually on the back of a novel.
Melina Valentine is reluctant to let go of her past in Destello. Only a few humans have experienced this peaceful natural oasis. Melina’s first encounter with Destello was after she befriended the unusual Izelle Howell. Izelle knows how to cross the various dangerous borderlines into Destello. Melina’s life changes drastically after her family has to relocate to a seaside town miles away. A visit reunited the friends and often times they would enter Destello. Izelle protects Melina from custodians of earth and pays the price. Izelle is banished from both earth and Destello forever. Melina is shattered but hope and anticipation linger as she remember the promise made to her.
